                                                 Four Fabulous Fall Decorating Idea

                                                                          Etch/carve your pumpkins

Etching is easy and fun and will leave an artful design on your pumpkin. The technique allows your pumpkin to last longer and is less messy than traditional carving.
Announce your address in style by cleverly etching your house number into a pumpkin, or etch a cool fall design. Piling diffrent color/types of pumpkins all together looks pretty too.

                                                                  Make Custom Candle Holders

Transform mini pumpkins into custom candle holders by cutting a 1-inch-wide circle into each pumpkin and scooping out the centers with a tablespoon. Simply insert small votive candles after ward that you can get at any craftstore. It's a cute and simple craft your family and guest will be sure to love.

                                                                           Foliage Arragangment

The key to arranging leaves is to group them by size and color as you would flowers. Red
makes a beautiful focal point when countered with the feathery foliage of greens, browns and oranges. Try finding foliage with little pieces of hanging fruit to add an extra pop to your piece.

                                                               Candles, candels and more candles

Everyone knows you can never have enough candles - especailly with all the yummy fall scents like pumpkin spice and maplewood. Complete your dining table by adding candles in fun lanterns that complement your color palatte. Mix in simple canning jars for a more casual affair.

fashion forward tends to try this month:

                                                                                  An A-Line Skirt

Cute, classy and goes with just about everything. What more could you want from a skirt? A-Line skirts go with just about any top - button up, pleated, camisole, crop top or even your favorite sweater. Just add some killer heels or flats and some accessories!

This beautiful color comes in a variety of shades to match any skin tone. Its light and can be worn for everyday occasions. The color-style nude is making a huge comeback in lipstick and in kinds of fashion. Nude toned lipsticks make your lips seem fuller, and who can resist that?

                                                                                          Plaid

                                               Consignments - Dream Come True

Kellie first opened up her first boutique back in 2006 in East Lansing, called K2 Boutique. Since then, she moved that store once in 2007 and then finally moved to Okemos in 2009 where she opened up a much larger consignment store which is now Kellie's Consignments.

Most of you are familiar with her Kellie's and know it as a retail and consignment store, charity operation and gathering place that draws people from all over. It is a colorful, exciting and energy filled establishment all on thirteen thousand square feet. From couture to basic, vintage to modern, Kellie's sells gently used quality clothing for men and women. You will also find furniture and decor items, as well as fabulous jewelry and accessories.

Kellie is all about giving back to the community. Kellie's Consignments benefits those who have unused items in their home and could use the extra money. Gently used items quickly transform into cash for consignors. Kellie's recycle's, up-cycle's and up-scale's items. Money earned and spent at Kellie's Consignments goes right back into the community. Last year alone Kellie's put nearly $400,000 back into surrounding households.

Kellie is super proud of how far her establishment has gotten and the success it has had and hopes it will continue to do well in the future. She is currently still working and helping out in the store and has started to do Estate Sales as well for fashionistas looking for awesome updated fashions and home decor.

Kellie is currently working on opening up a retail store in Saugatuck, Michigan, and a thrift store in the Okemos area. In her free time she likes to go boating, shopping, being active in the community and meeting new people.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a ton of new outfits to wear without spending anything at all? Well, now you can, just rework your versatile summer staples and you’ll be ready to hit the fall running without spending too much mula. Here's a list of warm weather favorites that are easy to transition into fall/autum wear as well.

5 Summer Styles You Can Wear All Fall

                                                  1. The light-weight denim/chambray shirt

This is such a versitile essential to have in your closet. Its light weight and can go with just about anything. You can easily layer long-sleeve tops with this essential piece in the fall or even pile a sweater on-top for colder days. You can also try rolling-up the sleeves, wearing it open over a dress, tying it around your waist or even tucking it into a skirt with some cute tights and boots.

                                                                             2. The Crop Top

Crop tops can definitely still work for fall - you can easily make them work by choosing a longer style and pairing them with high waisted pants or skirts. If you're feeling a little more adventurous  you can even do high waisted shorts with tights. Layer a cute jacket on top and you're good to go!

3. The Midi Skirt

This wardrobe essential definitely deserves to stick around for another season. You can easily pair it with a crop top or your favorite blouse tucked in.

                                                                        4. The Shirt Dress

Mixing up this dress for the fall is easy, just swap out sandals for some cute tights and ankle booties. Toss on a sweater or leather jacket for colder days. You can also easily accessorize with a scarf or a pretty necklace.

                                                                  5. The Statement Sneaker

Let me just start off by saying I love statement sneakers - they are so fun! We've seen a lot of celebrities rocking them these days. Kicks in prints are a go-to item for this fall. Animal print, stripes, polka dots - anything goes.
